Straight answers, plainly given
Does Riverside accept Medicare and Medicaid?
Yes. Riverside is certified for Medicare and for Oklahoma Medicaid, called SoonerCare.
My parent lives in Arkansas. Can they use Medicaid at Riverside?
Medicaid is run by each state, and in most cases Arkansas Medicaid does not pay for long-term care in an Oklahoma nursing home. A person who moves to Riverside would apply for Oklahoma Medicaid (SoonerCare) through Oklahoma Human Services, which decides eligibility. Call our Business Office Manager at (918) 875-3107 before the move so we can walk your family through the timing.
How much does Riverside cost?
It depends on the level of care and how it is paid for. Call (918) 875-3107 for the current daily rate and an honest estimate for your situation.
Do you take Medicare Advantage plans?
Medicare Advantage plans set their own rules for skilled nursing stays, and many require approval before admission (prior authorization). Call us with the plan name and we’ll check whether Riverside is in network.
Can we start the process from the hospital?
Yes. Tell the hospital discharge planner you would like Riverside, and we’ll coordinate with them from there.

Questions about coverage?
Call and talk it through. We’ll explain your options plainly, with no pressure.
